Bio

David has over 13 years experience in photography. His vision and style have gained him exciting commissions with his work being featured in magazines, newspapers, brochures, websites, on products, and in peoples homes around the world. David’s unique background in marketing and modelling give him a competitive advantage over other photographers working in the same markets, and a professional attitude that is second to none. David is known particularly for his people photography, in many different forms.

Marketing Professional
Having held senior positions in product management, sales promotions, direct marketing, and ‘below the line’ advertising (as well as holding full qualifications with the chartered institute of marketing CIM), David is able to utilise this knowledge to quickly interpret the requirements of brand managers, marketing managers, managing directors, and art directors when creating commercial images. He really does know what it is like to be in the client’s shoes!

Modelling History
After reaching the finals of the Clothes Show Model Search competition in 1989, David worked as a successful part-time model throughout the 1990s. Between 1995 and 1998 he was signed to Manchester Model Agency (MMA) and featured in campaigns for clients such as Aquascutum, Boots, Braun, Oasis, and Umbro. This first hand experience helps David understand the needs of both new and established models alike, as well as the agents representing them. Having been both sides of the camera, he is ideally placed to offer expert advice in shot selection and portfolio composition to help give models and actors an advantage over their competitors.
